Foster Community Pocket Park

(2023-2024)

Context: A new public green space co-designed with residents and stakeholders in the University District.

Role: Led the research phase, coordinating 6 workshops with 80+ participants to gather community input. Translated findings into design action by developing the park plan, including a set of 7 benches that celebrate community connection — each shaped to reflect a different area of the University District map.

Outcome: The community-driven design informed final development plans, strengthening neighborhood identity and engagement.
